Itinerary description
ES: Esta ruta circular es un poco más desafiante que la ruta B pero vale la pena ver el valle desde otra perspectiva.
Desde O Muíño cruzamos el puente, subimos cuesta arriba hasta el primer cruce, giramos a la izquierda dos veces y volvemos al río menos de un kilómetro río abajo. Donde el Rego da Frisca (arroyo) se une al río tenemos que trepar sobre las rocas durante unos 100 metros para encontrar la siguiente pista. Esto es posible todo el año, pero mucho más fácil cuando el agua está baja y las rocas están secas. Giramos a la derecha y vamos abruptamente cuesta arriba a través del bosque mixto hasta la carretera de asfalto. [Debido a problemas de GPS, el mapa de ruta es aproximado para este tramo. Seguimos la pista hasta llegar al asfalto.] Giramos a la derecha hacia O Casal donde podemos ver un cruceiro de piedra y una capilla abandonada.
El descenso a través de campos de vuelta al valle es realmente precioso, especialmente hacia el atardecer. Después de la caminata no olvides revisar tu cuerpo para detectar pequeñas garrapatas.
EN: This circular route is a bit more challenging than route B but it's worth it to see the valley from another perspective. From O Muíño cross the bridge, go uphill to the first junction, turn left twice and return to the river less than one kilometre downstream. Where the Rego da Frisca (stream) joins the river you have to clamber over rocks for about 100 metres to link up with the next track. This is possible all year but much easier when the water is low and the rocks are dry. Turn right and go steeply uphill through the mixed woods to the asphalt road. [Due to GPS issues the route map is approximate for this section. Just keep following the track til you get to the asphalt.] At the asphalt turn right to O Casal where you can see a stone cross and an abandoned chapel.
The descent through fields back into the valley is really gorgeous, especially towards dusk. After the walk don't forget to check your body for tiny ticks.
