Itinerary description

A short walk along part of the south side of the Óbidos lagoon
We follow a track along the edge of the lagoon through mud flats and turn inland to pass an airfield. After a short stretch of road a footpath takes us back to the lagoon edge and we retrace our steps back to the start point.
The tracks are completely firm and flat apart from a short ascent to a picnic spot near the end of the walk.
Ensure you have protection from mosquitoes if needed.
Bring your binoculars if you want to observe any birds.
