Itinerary description
Steep hike from Tjoflot to Mount Oksen ans Mount Veten. 2-3 hour up, return the same way. To reach Tjoflot you need a car. From Voss drive against Ulvik. At the end of the tunell "Vallaviktunellen", turn to the right aginst Tjoflot. You will pass two gates and reach a parkingplace. From here you will find the path leading you up to the topp. First through dense forest, and after a 40 min. you come to a small summer farm and you now have a fantastic view against the beutiful Hardanger Fjord. You continue up, still on a good path, and reach the top after another 1,5 - 2 hours. From here you also have a grat wiew aginst the Hardanger Brigde, Eidsfjorden and the Hardanger Glacier in NE. From Oksen you can take a short (15 min.) walk to Mount Veten south of Oksen. You see a cottage near the top. From Veten you now have the most spectacular view over Hardanger and the fjord.
