Itinerary description
Brilliant loop - through a valley which, according to the placard, has signs of neolithic activity. The highlight is a spring well which overflows onto a spillway to form a stream. The well, called the Eye of the Thrush, is only active in the spring. I've seen it in March and April, flowing - but in September, quite dry. After leaving the valley, which is dotted with ancient mills, the walk is along tracks and cobbled streets. Very nice on a spring day. This walk is part of public trail PR4-AVZ.
Note: on the map the little tail on the right shows where to park. There is a little tag on the south part of the loop where we took a wrong turn.
