When you drive into Khasab town in Musandam peninsula, you first reach Al Harf village.
Behind the Harf village, a road leads to a very well maintained offroad that leads to few isolated villages and a telecommunications tower.
This hike starts around 1 km after from that area, this trail goes over the mountain ridge along the Bukha area and provides you with best views of various villages in the region and blue sea.
The whole hike is on a Rocky Sharp Terrain.
Need thick sole shoes.
Need good footing also as the surface of the ridge is rocky and uneven.
You need to initially drive on a graded offroad for about 8 Kms or so from al Harf village till the trailhead.
I have recorded that drive separately on wikiloc here.
It is on return segment, so you need to use the trail in reverse.

The views are excellent, please go well prepared.
We walked along the ridge most of the time overlooking impressive views of the villages and Bukha town hundreds of meters below along the Arabian Gulf.
Most of the time, you will be in the sunlight, so go with proper preparations. There are no trees on the way. No shelters.
No village on the way, so no supplies, so you need to carry your required supplies.
Most of the time there was phone network and internet coverage.
You can decide anytime to return back, in our case we hiked till the tallest peak in this mountain range.
Be safe, prepare well, Do not over estimate and enjoy your moments in the middle of nowhere. Take back all your rubbish with you.
Do Not Try Any Mountain Hikes If You Do Not Understand The Mountain Terrains, Dangers From Wildlife, First Aid, Hydration And Snacks, Your Own Fitness, Remote Activity Preparations, Communication Tools, Mountain Geography, Topography, Risk Factors, HSE Requirements, Hiking Risks, Fitness Level Of The Group Members.
Study All Above Matters Well Before Following Any Trails That You Find Online. Please Do Not Over Estimate Yourself.
