When you are in Salalah, if you are touring Western Salalah, you will be in the area of Mughsail beach, Eftalquot cliff and abandoned beach etc.
On your way back, you could drive here to Ain Ishat for an excellent hike.
This recording is only close to half the distance as we decided to cut short the hike and enjoy in available water pools. We were short of time.
Please follow trail mark flag signs for the full trail, all along the Wadi.
This is a Great hike. It's about 1 hour and 40 minutes away from the parking lot, and is very scenic.
It's beautiful with the river next to the path, but path can get confusing, so you have to follow the red-white-yellow flags painted on the rocks and trees.
You need mosquito repellant and good hiking shoes, along with a lot of water and some energy bars.
Old people, children, and overly obese people will find the hike challenging, as it gets steep and slippery halfway through.
After the hard part it gets easier to walk.
The parking place is as below. Sedans can reach this place with care.

Around 1.2 km moderate trekking from last parking spot.
Try to park at last spot.
Although 4x4 is recommended,it is possible to reach the parking area by sedan.
Well-marked trail or follow pipeline.
The waterfall and the related natural pool is spectacular.
The pool is quite deep and jackets are recommended for those who do not know swimming.
Keep garbage bags as no provision to dump waste.
Very nice and wonderful place. Till you reach the spot you won't believe that you would get such a view and experience.
Worth for the walk of 4km( 50 to 60 minutes walk)
Note:
1.Mosquito repellent is a must
2.will find some frog on the way
3.not a easy walking area as lot of rocks and ups & downs
4. Not recommended for kids, old age and over weight people.
It helps other hikers and it will build a better hiking community. Thank you.
