Itinerary description
A walk trough the beautifull valley of Orient. The early morning light is nice in the grass among the olive trees at the start. The path trough the higher woods not that interesting. Extraordinary views from the castle. A small cafee in the former monastery at the top serves cake and coffe. Below is the farm house restaurant Es Verger, serving gorgious lamb shoulder. The way down to Orient is easy after the meal. :-)

Hi there,
We were wondering whether the part between the Castle and Es Verger is a real path or actual scrambling.
And also "The path trough the higher woods not that interesting" : is that the same part or do you mean from Orient to the Castle ?

Hi Dirk.
If you want to go from the castle to Es Verger, you can walk down the path and stairs to the road to the farm. You wil end a little lower
Ups... The stairs end a little lower down the road to the farm. You will have to walk along the road up to the farm.
When you ascend from Orient side the walk in the forrest offers almost no views (a little boring), but the trees give some shade on the way up.
We did walk from Es Verger up the gravel road behind the farm to the pass where we came up. This road will give a little shade in the afternoon.
