Itinerary description

4 hour walk. spectactulaire views ... start zona recreativa La Caldera. This walk start near zona recreativa La Caldera, You can come here easily by bus (345). the tour starts at the parking, you will find also a post there that explains the track. Becauce track GR131 is a circular tour you can choos between a strong hike uphill at the beginning or a strong descend at the end. We went left where you see a small restaurant and you walk over a enjoyable hiking trail ((los Organos). then straight ahead past to Choza Pedro Gil and the Organos rocks. After about 30 minutes walking you go into barranco del aqua and there will be a sharp turn to the right towards camino del topo (white- red-yellow PR TF 35). This walk goes high above the Barranco along and give you fantastic view over the Oratava Valley and the Teide. Then it goes down slowly walking through the forest path back towards picnic area La Caldera. A great and spectacular tour above the famous Organos rocks.
