Osumi Canyon - from 'Mulliri I Babayit' (Dad's Mill) to Çorovodë

Itinerary description
We parked our car at the main square of Çorovodë & took a taxi for 2000 Leke to the starting point - about 12 km southeast of town square. We based our hike on the Visit Skrapar web site (http://www.visitskrapar.com/en/outdoor/trekking) however there we made some adjustments to their proposed hiking plan.
Starting from the Dad's Mill (Mulliri i Babayit in Albanian), cross the foot bridge to the far side of the river - be cautious to check the boards on the bridge. Follow the trail up a steep climb to the top of the cliff, after which the trail crosses several grassy fields with remains of old stone walls and stuff. The trail continues to slope gently down through more forested areas until it reaches the river bed - you may have to trek through some more heavily wooded areas. We lost the trail for a few hundred meters at this point but descended straight down to the river bed and found it again easily.
The trail again climbs up the same side of the hill after some drain pipes join the river bed, and after about 1 km of woods, follow along the edges of farm fields along the edge of the canyon for several kilometers. You will reach another bridge just north of Blezencke, which is a good vantage point to see the canyon and take photos. Stay on the same side of the river, and a much wider and more established trail starts that will continue for the rest of the hike to Çorovodë.
About one kilometer after the bridge, there is a larger tributary stream with a small bridge crossing it. Just to the left of the bridge, there is a great spot for wading and a shallow swim in the cool mountain water. From this point, take the right turn on the trail after crossing the bridge.
From here you are about halfway to Çorovodë, the trail is easy to follow with many points to see the canyon, although there is one section that goes maybe 200 meters to the southwest of the canyon before rejoining it again. The trail progresses through a number of picturesque villages before descending closer to the river bed as you reach Çorovodë, and several bridges cross over to the town at the end of the hike.
