Itinerary description
Day two of the Otter trail from Ngubu hit to Scott Hut, the day starts with a tough incline from the coast to the top of the headland, there is an observation Deck there be on the lookout for dolphins and whales. The path then meanders through the forest before descending to the kleinbos river, here there is a technical crossing followed by a long climb. The path then descends down to the blue bay turnoff (a secluded beach), thereafter is a tough climb followed by a stretch on the headland after another observation Deck, then the path descends down to the Scott Huts. Overall a beautiful day with amazing coastline and Forest, tough ascents with a rewarding finish.

Moderate
Beautiful forest day, some long climbs, saw whales and detoured to blue bay is a must. Leave early enough to stop at blue bay for a swim.
