Itinerary description
Trail following the approximate old Outeniqua trail day 1 before it was rerouted to the South Side of the mountain (Circa 1970's). The trail starts at Witfontein ascending the Outeniqua Mountains via the Cradock pass, the trail then follows the North side of the mountain up to the ridge near Kransberg, thereafter the trail descneds and ends at Tierkop Hut. As this is an approximation of the original day 1 of the old Outeniqua trail any info and route corrections/suggestions are welcomed.
