Itinerary description
I did mark it to very difficult due no marks at all after the upper loop start , if you walk on forestry road and make loop only half it is easy. If you want to follow my route, prepare well, two hiking poles are helpful really. I mixed this trail with offloading, walking , hiking oh with sailing almost :) wind is strong up there.
Today I would make upper loop part of the trail, because I made already half of it few weeks before. I did start where the loop start/end and connect to main route. Trail has 'nice' marks, (not exists out of main road) I did lost marking if exists at all quickly. I found may one bush marked with a name tag, nothing else. Surface is tricky deep slopes covered with Golden Oaks and dog roses. You can select many path , may works may not.. I didn't have much time to play this stupid game.. I did choose go up straight in zig zag I didn't see any other solution both side has dangerous deep slopes with rolling stones. Trail is very scenic and very easy if you walk only on earthen road.

The village is home to vineyards, nut and fruit trees, and produces the spirit Zivania in the traditional way. The spirit also plays a role in important village traditions, such as sharing it with friends in the church courtyard on name days. Four old and interesting churches, including significant Byzantine churches (the Transfiguration of the Saviour 16th century World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO and Saint George 17th century) are worth a visit, whilst other sights include the village unique square, a museum exhibiting Byzantine Heritage, the restored hideout of the Gregoris Afxentiou (liberation struggle 1955-1959), and the statue of the Cypriot Mother praides the ethos and the love for the country displayed by the mothers who lost their children during the liberation.
