Itinerary description
Great hike up to ridge..
small village of Adons ...gravel road leads to parking opposite the church.
There are no signs for Teller its self..one sign indicating to Portus ..
Pass through the gate at end of the parking area..path is well used..at the end a sign for Portus ..take the right hand climb..
Follow , a few places need to look for the small cairns.
The climb is steady and not steep..There is a cairn near the first ridge that indicates the way to Teller...we carried on a bit and descended through the small gorge to the other side..great views of the cliff face..
Return to the large cairn..here the path is a little lost , so take care and remember your return track..follow through scrub and opens out on a grassy flat area...Teller is the large rise in front of you at this point..we headed for a lone tree on the rise and then make your own way to the ridge ...From the top you can see the faint trail that you need to return by..
Enjoy your time high up with the eagles and buzzards that soar around the cliff face
