Itinerary description
Starting in central Palma and walking along the sea is a great way to enjoy both the city and the coastline. It’s a bit bit on this route, however once you turn off towards the castle there are fewer and fewer people. The park entrance is easy to find and then it’s a matter of choosing your trail. There are so many options - all of which are relatively quiet with just the sounds of your footsteps and, in summer, the insects. It’s best to wear good walking shoes and then just to walk and take in the sites. The castle itself is nice enough and the view from the top is ok, but it’s the trails that you can follow that make this a great walk.
