This hike goes from Parque Holandes to Villaverde and back.
A new highway seems to be under construction just north of Parque Holandes, and you may have to adjust the track a bit in the future. It seems there will be a small tunnel for pedestrians, so I am quite sure you can pass the new road in the future.
We also attempted to visit the cave "Cueva del Llano" near Villaverde, but it was closed. The reason apparently was that it was not safe due to falling rocks. Back home I read some reviews of the Cueva del Llano cave and it seems to be unexpectedly closed a lot of times! Be smarter than us and check if the cave is open before you go there...
The trip to the closed cave added about 6 km to the hike. If you decide not to add the visit to the cave, turn right at the Calle de los Geranios in Villaverde, the hike will be about 16-17 km in that case.
The hike is quite flat, so the 22 km were relatively easy.
It was a pleasant but long hike and it gets 3 out of 5 points from us.
