Great views of snow capped mountains. Trail is in parts washed away and there are a couple of areas where you have to walk on what seems like an old river bed so you need walking boots for grip. Don’t be tempted to drive to the start point - park in the road below - the road is very bumpy and gets holes. Beautiful picnic stopping place by river.
