Itinerary description
The Vogelberg is a mountain of the Jura, located north of Mümliswil in the Swiss canton of Solothurn. It lies east of the Passwang Pass and it is part of the nature-park called Thal. The border with the canton of Basel-Landschaft runs north of the mountain. The Vogelberg is the easternmost summit above 1,200 metres in the Jura Mountains.
We reached the starting point by car in the afternoon at about 15:30 in December. The snow covered landscape made this place magic. For the way back it was already night and so beautiful.
