Itinerary description
Drive along the asphalt road in the río Miel valley until it becomes an unmade road. Be aware that there is a left turn requied part-way along the asphalt road at a point where there is a signpost to a cortijo. Where the asphalt road ends, you then come to a ridge where there is plenty of room to park. Most of the route is along 4x4 tracks. A small amount of scrambling required to reach the top of the Peñón de los Castillejos, but the views are excellent from the top.
