Itinerary description
Fuimos a Periana con el plan de andar directamente a Venta de Zafarraya, pero decidimos cambiar la ruta y pasar por la Aldea de Guaro. Subimos en el autobús hasta la parte alta del pueblo de Periana, que es recomendable para evitar la subida muy acusada. La ruta es una subida continua pero suave. Parte de la ruta transcurre por lo que antaño era el antiguo ferrocarril. Bastante fácil con vistas increíbles. Entrando en Venta de Zafarraya pasamos por un túnel de unos 60 metros.
We went with the idea of walking directly from Periana to Venta de Zafarraya, but we decided to change the rout and go through the village of Aldea de Guaro. The bus took us to the top of the town, which is recommendable to avoid the steep climb. The route itself is a continuous climb, but it is very gentle. There are some stunning views. Part of the route is over a path which was previously a railway line. Arriving in Venta de Zafarraya the route takes us through a tunnel of about 60 meters.
