Itinerary description
This is a section of the new GR249 which overlays the old GR242 in parts.
We walked over 4 days.
Day 1 Periana to Canillas de Acietuno. Roughly 7 hours.
Day 2 Canillas de Acietuno to Competa. Roughly 9 hours.
Day 3 Competa to el Acebuchal. Roughly 8 hours.
Day 4 El Acebuchal to Maro. Roughly 7 hours.
Very tough and long days.
A very good level of fitness required.
Good boots and stamina.
A good head for heights in parts.
Go Forth and Enjoy...!
