Itinerary description
This a a very nice, short (2,5-hour) climb onto a 5,000-meter-peak, which you can reach easily from the road Arequipa-Cañon de Colca. Start the walk exactly at the point marked on the GPS-track, because there you hit a narrow trail which leads right to the top the peak.
This climb to this peak is perfect to acclimatize for Chachani or Misti and enjoy a wonderful view of the great volcanic scenery outside Arequipa. To get there hire a cab in Arequipa for a day and tell the driver to wait for you at the entry point to the trail.
