Pic d,Arres
From Bossost take the col de Portillon ,
Just before the col small 4x4 track on your left leading to small parking area.
walk started from here , continue up the track and take signs for the Col de Bareges..good views looking over to Pic de Sauvegarde..
Behind the cabane..track not very clear but continue up to the ridge on many animal tracks.
once on the ridge you can follow easy the frontier markers south...return down small valley to reach the forestry track
