Itinerary description
So the first part of this hike went very well. You start off on a paved road and then transition to a dirt trail that leads you into the woods. The trail starts getting more rocky and primitive as you continue up. You go through more woods and then as you get closer to the top, the trail gets very muddy (which is especially fun for those who like getting dirty and adventurous on their hikes). We got very lost on our way back down and ended up having to jump someone's fence in order to get back into town, but hey, it all worked out in the end!! Before we got lost, the trail took us down through a lush, tropic path which then transitioned to a rocky one with amaaaazing views of the valley. Seriously guys, it was breath taking!!! Don't make our mistake and make sure you follow the orange/blue ties on the trees that assure you that you are on the right path. If you hit a huge field of purple wildflowers...TURN AROUND!! Even though we got lost, I would never change this any part of this experience. Truly a great hike (though not for the weak)
