Pico Sierra Prieta, Casarabonela
Passing Casarabonela on the MA 5401, drive to Puerto Martinez, then take the BTT sendero (bicycle route) on your left (to Jorox) for 7.7Km.
There is some off road parking in several places near the start of the walk.
The Jorox bike route is narrow in some places, but you get very little traffic on this trail.
Picking up a trail on your right, keep going up until it merges with the PR A 408 (Casarabonela – Sierra Prieta).
Eventually you get to an intersection where you go right and you start climbing for just over 1Km to the summit. This section is well marked with cairns of rocks, so you can’t get lost getting to the summit.
The views from Pico Sierra Prieta are spectacular. Too numerous to name.
Making your way down to the intersection again take the path to your right which eventually reaches the Jorox BTT sendero, which will take you back to the parking area.

Realizamos esta ruta, muy bonita, pero se nos hizo un poco dura, sobre todo el kilómetro anterior a la cima, más que nada por la falta de forma, tras el largo verano con rutas llanas de ríos. Gracias por compartir.
