Itinerary description
A beautiful walk to the Pino Del Guirre and Riscos del Los Muertos from the tiny village of Las Vegas. The walk passes stone ovens, water cisterns and channels as it follows good paths steeply uphill to the giant Pino Del Guirre, which towers over all of the surrounding pines. The scenically impressive Riscos del Los Muertos are passed on the return leg into Las Vegas where the simple Ermita de Nuestro Señora de La Esperanza is interesting because it has no bell-tower, the bell being housed in a pine tree near the church. The walk can be comfortably completed in around four hours.
