Itinerary description

Short walk along several small picturesque white Alpujarrian villages. Part of it is waymarked with signposts PR-A22 or PR-A29. You can park your car at the central market square of Pitres where there are also several possibilities to enjoy a drink. There is also a small supermarket.
After 1 km the signposted way PR-A29 leads you to a closed gate where you are not welcome (e.g. warnings for dogs). So, we returned and followed a shortcut, but probably the closed gate is not legal. After 5 km you come to a point where you can follow the water channel a little while (as we did). The "official" way is to keep descending to Fondales and climbing the first street to your right).
