Pizarra – Venta Cómpeta
I tried to recreate the delisted route PR-A 118 Pizarra – Venta Cómpeta.
I cannot find this old route anywhere. Venta Cómpeta is a very small hamlet, probably named after the small bar at the end of the walk, which was open.
After leaving Pizarra you get into the valley which is very scenic and unfortunately very dry. There’s lots of lemon groves scattered around.
I didn’t quite recreate the exact route as I found a signpost on the return leg that went to the left but I decided to take a shortcut through some farmland.
I will definitely re-explore this area to try and find the old original route if I can.
All in all it was a very pleasant walk.
