Itinerary description
A beautiful valley walk with a bit of elevation.
We did a loop walk following the well marked path to Montgarri with the river on our right.
After visiting the church we started following the return path keeping the river on our right. However, we chose to leave the path after a while and cut up through the pine trees to the road which we then followed all the way back.
Point to note is that the path after leaving Montgarri had one or two precipitous points that would be unsuitable for young children. To avoid this just walk up to the parking area and follow the road back.
The views were just amazing. Enjoy.
