Itinerary description
A gradually, easy climb to the edge of the Sierra Nevada. But it is very long and so cost a lot of energy.
It starts high up in the Sierra, 4x4 recommended!
You climb bit by bit also through a pinewood until you are above the tree border.
There you will be surprised by a wonderful view on the Mulhacen.
We did it in June after a lot of rainfall.
You could shorten the route because the road is in perfect condition to drive almost to the top.

Eagle
We saw a big eagle flying above us in circels. Could catch it on the picture, though.

In Midsummer it is springtime up here. You will find all kinds of flowers and lots of black butterflies.
Cows and horses walk free here.
It can be very hot here! Better do the first part by car then.
