Itinerary description
Park at the foot of Puig Campana (past the parking for the PC trails). Drive on Calle de los Dioses and park at the end of the road, in the area of el Más de l'Oficial.
The round trip goes first to Collado Sacarest/Coll de Sacarés, and past the climbing cabin el Más Sacarest. Continue to the right and up to Coveta de la Moscarda, with amazing views over Polop and Barranc de Gulabdar, which fed the Reg Major, or Séquia Mare irrigation system for over 300 years.
Then turn up towards Ponoig (Ponotx) on PR CV-17. This track is without the top due to bad weather and fog. Follow the sign towards Cim de Ponoig.
Then, over to Coll del Llamp, where you meet the trail from Cigarri pass. Swing around and down to el Coll de Pouet (la Mesa), on Puig Campana, where you meet the circuit and trail to the top.
Turn to the right and down to the emergency cabin, Refugi José Manuel Vera Catral, and down to the right and back to the parking.
