Itinerary description
A wonderful walk through olive groves and farms with orange- and lemon groves up to the beautiful hotel Son Bleda located along Ma-10 between Sóller and Deía.
The walk starts at the parking place next to Repic Beach in Port de Sóller.
Follow the main road Camí del Camp de sa Mar which leads out of Port de Soller until you reach the GR221 with a large information board and the signs "Soller 40 min", ”Port de Soller 15 min" and "Refugi de Muleta 1 H 55 min / Deía".
Follow GR221 in the direction of Soller for about 20 minutes, until you reach the intersection with a new information board for GR221. The road you've reached is called Camí de Binidorm and the road you meet, leading up the valley with the Torrent de Son Sales up to the right towards the mountains, is called Camí de Son Sales. It is signposted "Deía" up the valley, and it is about 2 km up until it reaches the GR221 path at the hotel Son Bleda along Ma-10.
On the first stage, called Camí de Son Sales, the path goes through a beautiful cultural landscape with many cultivated terraces and large properties. This part of the road is asphalted and passes right across the courtyard to the big property, Son Sales.
It continues on a cement road – idyllic, with beautiful views back towards the mountains.
The continuation is along a gravel road . ( If you come to a locked gate on the way up the valley, you have gone too far and overlooked a wooden pole 30-40 meters before showing a path to the right of the road).
The first half of the hiking trail is along a gravely or stony route, at times quite steep where wooden poles and arrows indicating the right direction. The path reaches another gravel road which after 200 meters leads to a gate at the back of the hotel Son Bleda at Ma-10. At the entrance of the parking lot you will find the GR221 signs, which you follow back to Refugi de Muleta or Soller.
The walking trail towards Port Soller ends at the lighthouse "Es Faro" with a great view of Port Soller and the mountains. From here it is 2 km down to the beach "Platja d'en Repic in Port Soller.

Heerlijke wandeling. Mooie vergezichten. Redelijk wat stukken verharde weg. Maar zoveel om om je heen te kijken dat het prima is.
