Itinerary description
Lovely triangular loop which we found from the local tourist map available to download at https://www.quimperle-terreoceane.com/preparez/documentation/, indicated on signposts as a yellow stripe with number 2. We did it in the reverse direction, and started from Portec instead. The road to Portec leaving the village is disconcertingly narrow at the start, but soon opens out and the parking place is quite big.
The first part of the triangle cuts across country through shaded leafy tracks, except for a short (400m?) stretch from Chef du Bois to Penanprat along a fairly quiet road.
The second third follows the river, with shade as far as the port of Merrien, along the GR34.
The last third continues along the GR34 coastal path, ending up at the beach near the car park.
