Itinerary description
Do not take the path on the beach if there was a storm and the ocean is angry. You’ll end up walking on unstable rocks and climbing the sandy shore to reach the trail again. (was also following somebody else’s track )

I would add that it’s advisable to give yourself plenty of extra time for two reasons:
1. There will be a lot of spots you may want to stop for photos.
2. There’s a fair bit, more than you’d expect, of soft sand on the trail.
