Itinerary description
Easy loop from Miranda do Douro to São João das Arribas. The walk has not a lot of landscape diversity (but the little are beautiful), but it's easy to see a lot of birds and small animals like fox.
It's very easy to park the car near the old town of Miranda do Douro. To go the main trail, you just need to follow the GR36 mark (red and white). This trail goes directly to São João das Arribas.
Path to go is easy to walk, going through garden and some great views above Douro.
When you arrive to Aldeia Nova you need to go down to the church, after go back up to follow the GR36. The path is at the entrance of the village. Follow this trail and when you cross a road, go on the right to a bigger road. There is a path on the front left. Take it and follow the mark yellow and red. And go back to Miranda.
