Itinerary description

Starting off from the Castle of Moura, then taking the main road 255 out of town. Right after crossing the river Ardila, the road splits (take right). As you go slightly uphill, there is a good view over Moura. Then you go through the little town Povoa de S Miguel, before continuing on the main road until Mourão. There are beautiful views of Lake Alqueva, and mostly farmland and huge olive groves. There is no possibility to walk the dirt roads, as they are on private property and behind gates and barbed wire fences. Note: This is not a nice day-hike. It's a stage on a thruhike.
