Itinerary description
Start and end in the village of Uz, passing the village of Samão.
Beautiful panorama's in between these two authentic and remote villages belonging to municipality of Cabeceiras de Basto. You see old stone signposts and old water mills along the way. This trail is highly exposed to the sun, so bring protection in summer. You walk on a plateau and therefore not too steep. First part is a gravel road, second part is asphalt.
This was once a marked trail. Too bad it's left unmaintained by the municipality... On some spots signs are still visible.
