Itinerary description

Le menhir, les Concluses

Start at the 4 way crossing.

Hike towards the village and greet the friendly pig (miss).

At the trailhead, hike left and take a right turn further on on the asphalt.

Part of the trail goes trough dense scrubs and provides plenty of protection from the sun.
The trail is always well maintained, well marked and cleared of vegetation.

At point "steep" the trail goes into the canyon/wash.
Go straight down, on a trail plowed by wild pigs.

This is where the trail gets interesting. It follows the rocky canyon floor.
Follow the yellow markers and don't miss the direction marker.

Follow the trail steeply uphill towards LA PIERRE.
They provided wooden stairs on the steep climb.

Once you reach a dirt road, don't miss the menhir, as it is behind you.
Now the trail goes steeply downhill on a rocky and sometimes a bit slippery path.

The last part of the trail is mostly on a wide forest road.

Watch out for hunters.
