PRIVATE: At 12:15 a.m. we are at the ferry terminal "Stavanger-Tau". Address: Fiskepiren, 1, 4013 Stavanger, Norway.
At 12:45 a.m. the ferry leaves and in 45 minutes we get to Tau where we arrive at 1:30 p.m.
We are 5 people with the driver + the car and we pay 442 NOK. for the one-way trip about € 48 approx. The return is the same. They leave every 40 minutes in high season, there is no reservation and the ticket is purchased at the same ferry.
We take the car and stop for lunch, then continue until arriving at the first parking lot at the Preikestolen where we arrive at 2:45 p.m. and do not let us continue on the top because it is full of cars. Better go there in the morning, if you can.
WALKING: At 2:54 p.m., we start walking and finish at 6:26 p.m. after extraordinarily enjoying nature. The trail is perfectly indicated and with a lot of impressive people going or back. If you are used to walking in the mountains, it is easy to do, although today it was very sun and difficult.
INFORMATION: Preikestolen is the most famous tourist attraction in Norway and is above the Lysefjord fiord at an impressive 604-meter height. This rocky platform, of about 600 square meters, was formed 10,000 years ago as a result of the thaw.
FINAL: At 6:40 p.m., we take the car to Tau and here at 7:30 p.m., the ferry that will take us to Stavanger, where we arrive at 8:15 p.m.
TIME TRAVELER: 2:51 a.m. (3.3 km./hora)
LONG TIME: 0:41 hours
TOTAL TIME: 3:32 a.m. (2.6km./hora)
NOTE: The rest time is approximate and we have done a lot of photographs.
