Itinerary description
The walk up to Priest's Peak is quite an easy and short stroll and offers a nice view over Port Louis. Due to the lack of trees, however, the entire path is exposed to the sun. The track starts at the ancient Dumas Battery of which unfortunately nothing but a flat piece of ground is left. Anyway, it makes a good parking. When facing the the mountain there are 3 paths which will be more or less visible. One on the left through the grass (possibly fainted depending on usage and height of grass), one in the middle heading straight forward towards the ridge and last, an old dirt road on the right-hand side. Note that the GPS track follows the dirt road but I recommend to use the path in the middle (the way back at the GPS log) as it seems to be the best/nicest way. On the summit you will find remains of buildings from which you can enjoy the view.
If you don't want to return, you can walk on towards "The Window". There might be no visible path but just keep on walking downhill on the broad ridge. The objectives are a single tree and further on a perched rock on the ridge in the distance. The GPS track will bring you just until a small cliff of about 2-3 meters. Unfortunately, I had to stop here but I believe this cliff can be climed down with not too much effort. Anyway, a rope may come in handy at this point to secure the scramble down. The rest of the way should be an easy to moderate hike passing the single tree on the ridge and finally a perched rock.

Referring to your description: "The GPS track will bring you just until a small cliff of about 2-3 meters. Unfortunately, I had to stop here but I believe this cliff can be climed down with not too much effort."
Been beyond that. No rope. Climbing down by side, there's a way.
Reaching "single tree on the ridge" and finally "a perched rock" - most demanding. No path.
