Itinerary description
This tour runs from the Alto del Leon to Alto de la Peñota with its 1945 meters, in a succession of steps between the two plateaus that throughout the history of Spain, collected names as Tablada, Berruco, Valathome ..
Also, the Peñota peak has been called Tres Picos, Gibraltar and Pico Carpentier. They allude various relevant periods of our history; Arab conquests and the last, the famous naturalist Alexander Carpentier who lived in the nineteenth century.
Do not forget we walk the Arcipreste de Hita pass with its literary connotations, and also the many remnants of the Spanish Civil war throughout the ride.
Through across this route we walk some of the most interesting lessons of our history.
