Esta ruta comienza por las afueras de Maria. Si, como yo prefieras realizar toda la escalada he al comienzo del paseo es una muy buena alternativa al acceso normal desde Chiravel.
Esta es la más alta "oficial" pista de senderismo en la Sierra María-en su pico se alcanza una altitud de 1748 metros. La subida total en mi ' Garmin' era un impactante 992 metros. Para ponerlo en perspectiva, ¡ Ben Nevis (La montaña mas alto del Reino Unido)tiene 970 metros de altura!
Durante el paseo se puede ver el albar Juniper monumento nacional, que es un árbol que se dice que tiene 1000 años de edad. A primera vista se ve bastante insignificante, pero una vez que desciende al árbol en sí y caminar alrededor de ella mirando el tronco y las ramas se puede apreciar su edad.

This route starts on the outskirts of Maria. If like me you prefer to get all the climbing done at the start of the walk it’s a very good alternative to the normal approach from the Chiravel side of the mountain.
This is the highest ‘official’ walking track in the Sierra Maria - at its peak an altitude of 1748 meters is reached. The ascent of the walk is a staggering 992 meters. To put this into perspective Ben Nevis is 970 meters high!
During the walk you can see the Albar Juniper National Monument, which is a tree said to be 1000 years old. At first glance it looks fairly insignificant, but once you descend to the tree itself and walk around it looking at the trunk and branches you can appreciate it’s age.
