Itinerary description
The first adventure of the day is crossing the regulator. We succeed fortunately then continue on roads until Çatallar mahallesi where we have a break before heading to the famous Uçansu waterfalls. We walk a lot on forest roads, all unshaded, crossing streams as we go. Long well-deserved swimming break in the first Uçansu waterfall (HEAVENLY). Then it gets even better when we divert to see the second one (MORE HEAVENLY). Literally flying water. Abundance of water. It’s harder to swim in the second one. After that on the trail we divert again to see the King’s pool/Kral Havuzu. It’s beyond words. A pool with a view. We couldn’t swim in there because we couldn’t find an easy way to enter it but found out later that there is a hidden ladder. Back on the trail we continued until the Kozan junction where we decided to end the day and walk to Kozan village. Just as you enter the village on the left there is Pednelissos pension and restaurant (Süleyman AKA Mr. Handsome runs the place)
