Itinerary description
Taking the old Arab bridge across the river Calle del arroyo and puente street the route starts here.
A small winding uphill path leads to a split in the way.
We took the left path it weaves up and down around the forest and hills upwards to casa de Haro ruined cortijo. There is an Arab water fountain here the fountain of the mine but no water.
We weaved up the Camino behind the cortijo past the water tank used for fires.
The camino split two ways we took the steady downhill way to the left which lead back down to Salares.
Ending up in bar el Theo
This route is strenuous up hill on shale paths. A little bit of scrabbling involved. A good area to picnic is up at the ruined casa. As walkers we found this route a little difficult would be ok for more experienced hikers.
