Itinerary description
Lovely trail starting from Salema beach and ending in Sagres. Both trailheads can be reached by bus 47 from Lagos.
Well maintained and marked, mostly dirt trail. There is not a lot of elevation gain in total, but there are quite a few short but steep ups and downs. Mostly follows the coast, but it does go a little inland in a few spots, making for a nice change of scenery.
I went off track for a few minutes right after km 7. Mind the markings and keep right.
Salema has a small grocery store and café and Sagres has plenty, but there isn't much in between, so make sure you have enough water at least.
