Itinerary description
One more time walk from San Jose de Los Llanos to Chinyero - the volcano which is to be blamed for the most recent eruption in Tenerife, as recent as in 1909.
This time the path takes from the village up to volcano, overtaking it from the south and then back to the village.
Note that the weather in los Llanos might be totally different from that in the surroundings of volcano itself: while in the village it was cloudy and temperatures as low as +9c ( mid May ! ) , higher, at the Chinyero, which is above cloud level it was sunny and warm.
