Itinerary description
Gorgeous trail that goes up to 1000m of elevation, with panoramic views of the ocean, neighbouring mountains, valley municipalities, and pine tree forests.
Trail starts at San Pedro, ask for the entrance towards the hiking trail for Tamadaba. You'll hike up to a fork that shows Artenara/Agaete. Take the Artenara fork to reach Tamadaba national park—once you're in the pine trees, you're there. Enjoy some time in the park, then descend back to the fork where you can then take the direction towards Agaete. The trail is well-worn and easy to spot. Attention: At times there will be gravel while going downhill, especially partway between the fork and Agaete—take caution.
