Itinerary description
We got the train to Sant Celoni from Barcelona.
You can get a bus to Campins but they are not very regular and it's a nice walk about 6kms from Sant Celoni to Campins.
The walk to Campin is marked with signs before you leave town and is a little uphill. We stopped at a picnic area and filled up on water before we carried on.
Once you leave Campins follow the signs to Gualba. Again it's well marked with GR signs along the way. Its mostly flat. There's a nice square with fountain and a bar in Gualba.
Head past the Ajuntament and follow the signs to Santa Fe. The trail gets really steep after 2kms and it's a very long uphill section for 6 - 8kms.
There are 2 waterfalls along the way. 1 was very well blocked off by the hydroplant. The other was accessible but we didnt go down there as it was getting late.
There are beautiful forest sections on the uphill part and you will be by some beautiful streams and rivers.
We camped before getting to the Santa Fe lake.
