----
https://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pedra_de_les_Olles
https://patrimonicultural.diba.cat/element/inscultura-del-pla-de-forcs-o-pedra-de-les-olles
https://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dona_d%27aigua
---
- A nice walk through a surprisingly green and lush landscape.
- This route has two great highlights:
First we visited the prehistoric site "Pedra de les Olles".
Later we had a look at the waterfall "Salt de les Dones d'Aigua", which is supposed to be a dwelling place of "water women", creatures from Catalan mythology:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aloja_(mythology)
When we visited the spot, there wasn't a lot of water, but I still found it very beautiful.
- The hike could be shortened by driving to the point where the loop starts, but the last part of the road is not paved.
- At about km 7, we turned left and went down to the riverbed "Torrent de Cal Paraire".
This path is quite undefined and overgrown. If you would like to avoid it, you could just go on following the wide dirt track. I marked it as "Camí alternatiu / Alternative route".
