Itinerary description
A lovely hike up the hill to enjoy the views and see the old windmills.
The walk starts lightly through the fields, where you can see honey beehives in different places.
On the road, the track continues steeply up.
At the ruins of the windmills 'Moinho das Estrelas' and 'Moinho Velho' you have a beautiful view over the valleys.
We decided to deviate from the indicated route at the last part of the descent. This road does have many challenges, narrow and steep paths, so step carefully. In this part of the road down, the use of a walking stick is a very useful.
