Itinerary description
Hike with great views and great variety without any big climbs. We take public transport to to Santa Clara, then head southwest along the ridge overlooking the lake. After the cornfields you take the right fork (the left takes you immediately downhill toward San Juan) through some nice forest trails, more lake views, then it joins up with the "road", which eventually heads toward the main carreterra while our trail goes left and down. It is a steep descent for a while before changing to a very gradual downslope, one last steep area, then into San Juan for beer and lunch.
